Lethbridge Dance studio seeking qualified Acrobatic Arts Dance Instructor.

Exisdance is a beautiful state-of-the-art dance facility in Lethbridge, Alberta, celebrating its 22nd year of dance. The school offers its students professional and quality instruction and provides all students the ability to achieve excellence. Exisdance is a well-respected, positive, and friendly dance studio within the community. Exisdance adheres to a policy that all students matter, whether they are recreational, recital, or competition students.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD EXHIBIT THE FOLLOWING:
- A love for working with children of all ages.
- A passion and infectious enthusiasm about teaching dance.
- The ability and experience to produce creative and innovative choreography.
- A willingness to learn and improve constantly and work with the Director in the technical development of the school's student body.
- A strong sense of leadership. Also displaying the ability to work as a team player alongside office staff and other studio instructors.
- Strong organizational skills and lesson planning experience.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Must be a highly technical dancer trained in Acrobatic Arts. Experience teaching other dance genres would be beneficial.
- Should have previous experience in competition and festivals.
- Must be able to teach all levels of students from beginner to advanced.
- Candidates with previous careers as professional dancers, gymnasts, ACROBATIC ARTS CERTIFICATION, A.D.A.P.T, teacher training, and/or college degreee will be preferred.
A contract position starting Fall 2025 teaching for a minimum of the 2025-2027 school year season. We are looking for someone who will want to stay and grow with the studio.
Hours: Approx. 8-10 hours per week between the hours Mon-Fri 4:30-8:30 pm.
Salary: This is a negotiable position and will be based upon experience.
